Dr. Henry Ranger was born in the beautiful town of Beaufort, South Carolina; just 30 minutes outside of the Hilton Head area. He graduated from Hampton University School of Pharmacy with honors in May of 2011. Shortly after beginning his career, Henry became extremely involved within the community, and has since prided himself in going above and beyond for his patients. His motto is, “Every pharmacy has medications, but what sets them apart from one another is the patient care that is provided.” In March 2019, he alongside his wife, opened The Prescription Shoppe—a full-service pharmacy, both locally and family owned. Besides being a small business owner, he sits on the Board of Directors for the Williamsburg Community Foundation, Olde Towne Medical & Dental Center and the Hospice House of Williamsburg. He is a member of professional and service organizations including the American Pharmacists Association, the National Community Pharmacy Association and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Dr. Ranger was named a top 15 under 50 recipient by the Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce and selected as a Forty Under 40 recipient by Hampton Roads Inside Business in 2021. Above all, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, Jacob and Joshua.
